While I fully support Immigration, as it is usually needed to fill jobs and keep the population up in various countries, I do not approve of acts like this. You were taken into a country out of their own kind will to provide you with a safer better living condition. How do you repay your hosts? By ganging up and attacking it.
I am from Canada and we are the worlds “melting pot”. We have so many different cultures here it is actually awesome. I love to go around different parts of the city and go into the different cultural zones. I.E. Little Italy, China Town, and so on. I have one question though, that is how much is too much?
Many people will come to this country and try to bring their cultural values with them. While I fully support this, it doesn’t mean we can accept them 100%. I’m trying to word this in the right way to not spark debates but I have to just say it. If we went to one of their countries and lets say the women here didn’t cover up, or cover up their head/face?, would we be allowed to do that there? I doub’t it. Why is it ok for them to force us to do those kinds of things here?
I remember a case in the winter about how people are offended when they say Merry Christmas to them or even see a christmas tree. What right do you have to come into a country and start debating how you want things? We fully accept your culture, we have no problem with it, just dont come and try to change US.
If you dont like it then thats the way it is, your country would not give in and let us change, so why would you force us to do it.
THE END

Oh no! The Iraqi government is mad again that a convoy was ambushed and when the people paid to protect the people inside fired back, they killed a few civillians. Dude, your whole country is full of terrorists who do not want you to stay in power and go around killing hundreds of people per attack. How can this be even on the same level. You make a major news story out of this happening while the ppl you should be after are murdering people on purpose.
I admit, it is horrible when innocents are killed, but common. When someone attacks a convoy and they are in a crowd, do you just sit there and take it or do your job and fire back. The people who launched the attack are the ones who hid in the crowd of civillian people. Why is that not being addressed? Why don’t they blame them for the fact civillians were killed?
If the people of Iraq hate the Americans/British/Other countries for being in Iraq more than the people inside their country who purposly murder their own kind, then there is no hope for Iraq and we should pull out and let them continue on the road of stupidness. You can only take a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
That is the end of my rant, Iraqi government, open your eyes! Iraqi people, open your eyes and do not be idiots, the quicker you are non violent the quicker everyone will leave your beautiful country, and it was beautiful and can be beautiful again. That is minus the random killings from a crazy leader!

There is no doubt that what the white kids did to the black kids in Jena was racially motivated. It may have been a bad joke or may have been for pure racial hate reasons.
The problem I see is why no one is addressing the opposite racial factor here. The “Jena Six” jumped a kid only for the fact he was white. It doesn’t matter what he did before, if he was involved or not, this was racially motivated. That makes what they did racially motivate and a racial attack. I do not see Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson bringing that point up? Rather they would rather get more people thinking everything is racially motivated just so they can have a job. They are throwing fuel on the fire and not letting races get along.
They also call this a fight. When six people jump one person and knock them out and continue to attack them when they are knocked out, it is not a fight. It is an attack. How come the media is not covering this. No one has the right to do this to people. Now that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have successfully stirred another issue up, there cannot be fair justice. I admit they went very light on the white kids and they should not have.
That is just my two cents. This is an equal guilt issue, I do not see why it is becoming one sided. Also, I think it was on CNN that I saw a black minister bring these points up. I will try to find the transcript for you but he said that Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton are turning young blacks against whites by all the stuff they are doing. He also believes that it was not a fight and racially motivated. I commend his words.
Before you bash me I believe the white kids should be charged for the noose thing and the black kids should be charged for jumping the kid. That would be equal, not the murder charge he got now.
What do you think?

While Al Sharpton may do many good things for the African-American community. Does anyone know his history? I did a little research and I’m going to let you know all about him and let you know some facts people seem to not bring up.
He always makes people apologise when he thinks they said something bad against blacks or did something against blacks. When has he apologised for what he has done to non African-Americans? Don’t get me wrong he does great work but it is not as one sided as he says. I think he should wait before he jumps on a topic, for the greater good, to get all the facts first.
All of the facts were collected from different sources and you can do your own research and let me know what you think.
November 28th, 1987. A girl named Tawana Brawley, a 15-year-old African-American girl was found smeared with feces in a garbage bag. Her clothing was torn and she had various racial remarks written on her. She claimed six men raped and assaulted her and some of them were police officers.
The jury ruled that she had fabricated her story after looking at medical records and police records. Al Sharpton and two other men accused the prosecuter of being racist and insinuated that he was one of the perpetrators of the alleged crime. Turns out the three (including Sharpton) got sued for almost half a million dollars. I have yet to see an apology for this.
August 19th, 1991. A car that was in a procession that was led by a police car, fell short, and ran a red light to make it back into the group. They were struck by another car and then their car struck and killed a 7-year-old Guyanese boy named Gavin Cato. The car also severlely injured his cousin named Angela. A private ambulence came and took the uninjured driver (who was Jewish) and took him to the hospital. I agree that was a poor move, but it sparked a riot. Someone in the mob murdered a visiting Jewish student while the mob of rioters yelled “Kill the Jew”. Al Sharpton had arranged this rally that turned into a riot and according to wikipedia.org, he was seen by some people as inflaming tensions in the neighbourhood.
There are far too many to list. I do believe that everyone does bad things and good things. Al Sharpton has done way more good than bad but i believe that he may jump at people a little too soon.
To read all the good and bad Al Sharpton has done please read more on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Sharpton
What do you think? Also please let me know if any of this information is incorrect so that I can research and correct it!
Thank-you for reading.

After doing more research as per hzelis’ request. I found that the whole matter of this issue started way back last year when one or two black kids decided to sit under a tree that certain other people (white) sat under. Now they may have done this to try to prove they are equal, to try to start a fight or just rub in peoples faces, or they may have just wanted to sit under the tree. it then went downhill from there and there was a fight at a party a week or two later just because some black kids showed up. A shotgun was pulled on the black kids and they wrestled it away. The person (white) with the shotgun was only charged with stealing a firearm and something else but not attempted murder or assault with a deadly weapon. I think this is what made them mad.
Then fastforward to the kid being beat up. Maybe he deserved it but it was a group beatdown. If it was a one on one then it would have been fair. However, I think that 22 years is way too much, whatever the other people got, should be all that these boys get, however it was still wrong to do a group beatdown and they still deserve punnishment.
I hope that makes you happy hzelis

I’m sure you saw this in the news somewhere. Apparently you CAN dress to sexy to fly. Who cares? If you can take crying babies and crazy people on planes why not people that are dressed sexy? It isn’t like they’re showing their boobs or anything.
Are you going to stop people from coming to your building because of the way they are dressed? If they are dressed like a gangster and you think they’re gonna gun up the place then ok. But, I mean how horrible can it be to let a sexy dressed woman on a plane? Big friggen deal people, grow up Southwest.
A second woman has now just come forward and said airline officials asked her to cover up while she was on the plane because her dress was not airplane appropriate. How lame is that.
The story is worth a read so go read the original at CNN.COM Here

What a surprise? Just because everyone whined about the soldiers being there, now they are pulling them back. It is horrible that so many Americans are dying in a place that obviously does not want any help. People may say you are cutting and running, but it is a way to save lives.
Pull all the troops out of Iraq! They had their chance to help you and they didn’t do a thing. They would rather attack you and say you are in their country for bad reasons. Get over yourselves dumb Iraqi’s. They are there to help you. Pull out, is what I say and let them see how they can deal alone.
Next time there is a problem there hit them from the air and sea and leave our troops out of it and see how much they complain when more people die.
Sorry for the rant, I’m just fed up of people who don’t know what they’re talking about.
It will most likely be on all American channels so get ready to watch that later today.
